Danier Leather Appoints New Style Director

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Jun 15, 2004) - Danier Leather 
Inc. (TSX: DL) is pleased to announce the appointment of Hilary 
Irlam-Kelley to the new position of Style Director. Working 
closely with Danier's design, merchandising and marketing teams, 
Ms. Irlam-Kelley will apply her fashion and design expertise to 
ensure the Danier vision and the style philosophy remains 
consistent from concept to customer.

A former retailer and fashion journalist, Ms. Irlam-Kelley joins 
Danier from Flare Magazine where she held the position of Style 
Director since 2000. Previously a Fashion Buyer for Holt Renfrew, 
she was involved in the early development of an HR private label 
program. Then as head of her own retail fashion consulting 
company, Ms. Irlam-Kelley worked with various fashion clients as 
Creative Director, Marketing Director and Fashion Director. Other 
services included, collaborating with advertising agencies that 
held fashion accounts and working on product development for 
several Canadian and US clients. Ms. Irlam-Kelley is the 
recipient of publishing and advertising awards, most recently as 
Creative Director on a project that won Gold for Fashion 
Photography from the Advertising & Design Club of Canada (2003).
